A test 3d print was made out of ABS, it helped me visualise the end project and realise the object was too thick and heavy without enough room to store other components.
Putting rubber around the speaker to avoid it moving around. A speaker inside the ear trumpet to direct the sound to the users ear.
I spent along time making the silicone mold, because the taper on the foam model toward the middle was very angular, it was hard to bring out. So the mold had to be broken. Attempts to make the mold out of rubber failed badly, and resulted in a block of silicone. The whole process took a very long time to perfect, i made 3 models and made several molds as well.
