What defined Japanese design?

The appreciation of the table and tea ceremony. The ‘humbleness’ and wabi-sabi are defining factors of japanese design.


Why ceramics?

Ceramics have longevity and history that plastics don’t have. Japanese tableware market is lacking playfulness and diversity.


Products.

The ring collection was created because there were many glazes that can’t be used on food.

Most enjoyable to make was ‘balancing act’ because of the making stages.
