The intricate detailing in these sculptures manage to evoke presence and intriguing movement. Because of the scale of the material used. The materials in the objects as well are carefully chosen by the maker, to ensure the balance of form. It enables us to take full appreciation of their craft. The circular dark sculpture by Mori Junko, pushes the common material of nails, into a contrasting sophistication from the usual hardness of the nail. Hosono Hitomi’s sculpture also makes the ceramic pot look weightless and soft.
