Japan House in Kensington is set up to promote Japanese culture and design, showcasing products from many designers and provinces. I especially enjoyed the cloudy papers and array of papers to look at and buy.
While you could say this is the high end of the Japanese design market, it focuses mainly on heritage and the combination of traditional to modern settings. All the objects speak for them selves in design and application, the clearly explained and detailed instructions and iconography really sets them apart from other products.
