The animation goes through my influences towards my outcome, Rene Magritte and Kenya Hara, around phenomenology. Exploring fragment/combine/reaction/response in four different furniture. The movie annihilation inspired me to rethink our existence.
The animation helped me gain more understanding of my own subject and what I wanted to convey to the tutors and classmates. Even though I had never really delved into animation I enjoyed the learning process and final outcome.
By using animate and after effects I was able to achieve more fictional and extreme reactions, that would not be possible in real objects. The storyboarding for the animation was very extensive as each section had significance, the actual animating and effects like the wiggling lines and glitches didn’t take as long because of the preparation.
