From submission of exploration brief:

Advice from Neil

Overall needs to be stronger narrative and story to convey these concepts

Musical table: Table idea too complex, sounds and tonalities will be hard to create as woodwind instruments work best in straight tunnels of ovals to transport air. There would have to be a complex system of tunnels, connected with the air holes to create different channels for it to work, to make sound. Or using digital means to imitate the insides

Drumming kits already done alot.

Unless the furniture acted more like wind chimes?

Acting like the exploded chair but with strings, moving to the blowing wind, chiming through.

Artifacts embedded with sounds

'what makes us human' in stead not just focused on human sounds as I had originally intended ( what Anthony said as well )

Objects need to have a sense of ambiguity and intrigue so they can 'spark' 'trigger' ideas from the people who interact with them. Look into stress, anxiety and therapeutic qualities.

Eindhoven graduate Nicolette Bodewes created 'communication toolkit' for therapeutic sessions.

"They're designed to have multiple angles to talk about," Bodewes said. "They can be positive, they can be negative, it's up to the client."

"The elements are your metaphors, and by placing them on the board you put them into a context."
